60 apartments

To replace 60 apartments dating from the ‘50s, the projects maximalises the available space while avoiding non-space . The intervention is based on the creation of a new park in the centre of the neighborhood, where there used to be neglected space only. The dynamic volumes of the buildings result from a combination of high-density housing and the single-houses-scale of the environment. The programme has been slit up into several monolithic 'blocks' which refine upwards, to create a permeability between the street and the existing low-density houses behind.
