The project is a part of the development of the ZAC Seguin. It incorporates both residential and public functions, including retail outlets and a crèche. These spaces are organised around a network of generous public, green, spaces. This principle is a continuation of the concept of "a city-park", wchich is set out in the masterplan for this area. The creation of transparency and permeability between the street and the inner green spaces breaks down the feeling of density and enclosure. The form of the building itself is inspired by natuRal rock formations. The green terraces mimic the cracks and striations in the natural stone and also assist to reduce the perceived scale of the buildings.
