A new garden city

Our goal is to create a new residential neighborhood that integrates into its wider context, including nearby districts and the Sonian Forest. Inspired by the historic garden suburb, this “Garden city 2.0” emphasizes community, green spaces, and ecological living. The design includes a mix of public, semi-public, and private green areas to foster social interaction and a strong neighborhood identity. Individual home entrances support a sense of personal belonging. A green axis — the "green walk" — and native planting create a gradual transition to the Sonian Forest. As a modern eco-district, the neighborhood prioritizes sustainability, circularity, and adaptability to reduce environmental impact and ensure long-term resilience.
