Around the church of Wetteren

'Wetteren aan de Schelde' is a urban design around the church of Wetteren. The project wants to realise a mixed program including paved and green public space, houses (both social and mid-class apartments and houses), public multifuncitonal spaces that can also be used as office spaces, commercial services, horeca and (semi-)underground parking space. The natural slope is filled with underground parking space, creating an urban platform finished with public functions. By putting the housing on this urban platform, they can enjoy a view on the water.
